having a hard time losing baby weight need some advice?

avasmom asked:

my daughter is 11 wks and i still haven’t lost all the baby weight. I gained 60 lbs with her and lost 27 lbs in the first 4 wks but can’t seem to lose any more. I breast feed and am pretty active and i try to eat good healthy foods. I still have 25 lbs to lose to get to my prebaby weight. i have also read an article saying a breastfeeding mom shouldn’t lose more than 2 lbs a wk any one else heard of this.

I still haven’t lost mine and she is 6 months! 11 weeks is a little early to expect to loose it, don’t put that kind of pressure on yourself. 9 months on, 9 months off!

I think that depends on how much weight that the mother gained during pregnancy. It sounds like your weight loss is right on track, but I would try weight watchers, they have a points system designed for post-partum mothers….

yes it took 9 months to gain the weight. dont expect to loose it all in 1 month lol. the only weight you loose in 1 month is the extra water weight, and blood you needed for when you had the baby. everything else will take more time to loose. just be yoursel and do as you normally would. youll loose the weight as time goes. i went up to 205 for my first pregnancy. lost 30 lbs the first month and took me till my daughter turned 1 to be back in my old cloths and feeling good when i looked in the mirror again.
dont stress over your weight. just ignore it you got a baby out of the deal. (by the way like when you do try to loose weight dont think or worry about it it will come off. but if you stress about it then it will get worse. stress creats fat.
