Is there anyway I can make low carb totilla chips?

Double G asked:

I’m on the whole low carb thing, and they make low carb totilla wraps, if I deep fried them would it work?

no bake them at 350 in the oven but watch them because they might burn quick

Look, I don’t want to slip yesterdays news over on you like it’s a huge revelation, but the whole Atkins Diet thing has been soundly discredited.

Facts: a gram of fat is 9 calories; a gram of carbs is 4.5 calories. You will lose more weight by eating carbs than fat.

Eat the low carb tortillas, while thinking of chips, if you must work that way. But remember: consume fewer calories than you burn, and you will lose weight. It’s that uncomplicated. Don’t buy any diet system. Use science and fact, in this area, to your benefit.

Slice them up, spary both sides with cooking spray or brush lightly with melted butter, salt them (a bit of chili powder is good also) and bake them on a rack in a 350 F oven for about 8 minutes.

    I wouldn’t fry them.
