love handles? losing weight by walking?
sknight0385 asked:
i was curious what great exercies there are to lose those love handles, and the fat around my waist. i just recently had a baby and i still have some of that pregnancy weight that i want to get rid of. any suggestions on what i should do to get rid of it, fastest possible?
or just weight in general? since i have her and her dad is deployed, i am still around the base and don’t have any family, so would perfer to do exercies that i can do at home. does walking help that much? say if i add 30-60 minutes of walking a day, how much weight should i expect to lose a week/month?
plus, is it better to eat 5-6 REALLY small meals a day to lose weight, or just one small meal? i am on diet pills (perscription) so am never hungry!!! should i still try to get myself to eat 5-6 times a day? or just stick with my one small meal? i only drink water too… so that isn’t an issue.
thanks!
Aileen

Diet Is A Four Letter Word
Normal 0
By Jim Nettleton
Right out of the blocks, let’s establish the fact that dieting shouldn’t really be necessary. Unfortunately, primarily because of what we consider a normal intake of food, going on a diet has become all too prevalent these days.
We are bombarded on all sides by a tidal wave of advertising promoting foods that, for the most part, aren’t very good for us. We don’t get the nutrition we need on a daily basis and instead take to snacking on food items that are basically worthless.
Nature never intended for us to eat the way the majority of the population does. Nature intended that our food intake be laden with fruits, nuts and vegetables, not Big Macs and Whoppers. By largely turning our backs on what we should eat, we increase the chance that we’ll feel hungry more often, a result, in part, of not consuming those foods that contribute to our nutritional makeup.
The epidemic of obesity, especially among the young, is truly a tragedy. Obesity leads to myriad health problems and diminishes the general quality and joy of life. All of us need to think less of dieting and more of consuming the right foods that will genuinely nourish us and help us fight the urge to eat more and more all the time. If dieting is truly necessary because of health concerns, make sure you diet sensibly. Help is available at my website http://www.jaynetinc.com/LoseWeight.
Take stock of your eating regimen. Be honest with yourself about what you shop for and wind up putting on the table. Make a conscious effort to stock your refrigerator and cupboards with food that will benefit you.
If you strive to develop a truly balanced diet the rewards will be legion. You’ll lose weight naturally, without the need to go on a strict, unfulfilling diet. If you take that route, once the weight is lost, you’ll be much more likely to start drifting back toward your old habits.
The general population needs to study what has happened in many countries around the world as soon as they were exposed to western diets. Oriental diets were always functional, natural and fat fighting. In recent decades, as more and more fast food franchises have sprung up in those societies, increasing weight problems have skyrocketed.
We have control over our body weight and food intake. Relegate the word diet to the four letter word status. Start planning balanced, nutritional meals as soon as possible and you and your family will reap the benefits for a lifetime.

Eat Stop Eat Review
Heard of the new fasting for weight loss approach called the Eat Stop Eat diet? Looking for a more clearer insight as to what it does and how it works? Keep reading further to get a more detailed review on Brad Pilon’s flexible eating approach for fat loss.
Intermittent fasting has existed for a long period of time. In fact, fasting has its own special place in many religions as well. How does Eat Stop Eat fit into all this?
Do you know who came up with the “eat 5 to 6 meals a day” approach? It was called the “bodybuilders secret” since bodybuilders used to eat more frequently to manage high calorie intakes to maintain muscle mass. It was easy for them since they needed to go over 3000 calories, but imagine splitting a 1600 calorie diet to 5 meals? The the ESE diet breaks this law and you’ll get more theory about this proof in the book.
The health and fitness industry took advantage of this system by making a rule that the only way to lose fat fast is by eating frequently or your body falls into what is called “the starvation mode”.
Think about it. If you don’t feed your body for two 24 hour periods per week, you are saving your body of 3500 to 4000 calories per week. You need to burn 3500 calories to remove 1 pound of fat, and when you follow the ESE approach, you automatically lose one pound of fat every week! This approach by Eat stop eat has got pretty popular especially after the book kills the theory about starvation mode and eat frequently.
In order to make EatStopEat work towards accelerating fat loss, all you have to do is follow intense resistance training workouts at least 3 days a week. That’s the only catch to following this simple and flexible approach to fat loss. Resistance Training maintains muscle and let the dieting lose the fat.
There is one special advantage to the Eat Stop Eat diet. There is no necessity to count carbs or watch the food you shove into your mouth. Even though eating clean will definitely boost fat loss, you don’t have to fear processed carbs or your favourite food anymore by blaming “diet”. As long as you perform at least one 24 hour fast per week with 3 intense resistance training sessions per week, you are good to go with your fat loss goals.
