What do you suggest for losing baby weight?

?Kimmeh? ?? asked:

I’m currently 190lbs and I want to go back down to my original weight, which was 135. I’d settle for 140 or 145, even. Any suggestions?

Aryanna

I lost my weight by pushing my newborn in the stroller every afternoon.

It was enjoyable, and I didn’t feel like I was on a regimented exercise program.

spare on the sugars and salts, drink lots of water, control your portions and exercise. eat lots of leafy greens. it helps if you give yourself one cheat day a week, but just dont pig out. pilates are awesome for soft toning

i lost 15 lbs- all of my baby weight

I’ve heard that breastfeeding can really help. Other than that, walking and/or lifting weights. The more muscle mass you have (even if you only build it up temporarily) the more calories you burn every day — even while you sleep. Good luck!

Yoga! I do Yoga all the time. You’ll love it. It’ll even help get rid of the stress of taking care of that little one, too!

    Congratulations on the baby =)

You’ll just need to learn that along with any exercising, you must exercise your will to not eat the foods that tempt you the most – highly caloric, fatty, greasy, sweet, salty, etc.

I know that those are sometimes the most flavorful, but once you’re not eating them, other natural foods become flavorful! They will replace your want for any of the other foods that will pack on the pounds!

Oh, most important… drink tons of water! It’s important for a woman, especially…you need to flush your system on a daily basis. Water weight is evil.

Note to draken: You’re not a female, obviously. It’s not pigging out. There are many women that gain a lot of weight during pregnancy for many different reasons OTHER THAN “pigging out”. If you don’t have anything nice to say…THEN SAY NOTHING AT ALL!!!

In order to lose your excessive weight that is holding you down, start excersising more often or eat right. If these aren’t what’s going wrong with you, go on a diet and eat healthy. Don’t eat any fast food or anything that has lots of grease. Eat vegetables and fruits. Hope you get to your regular weight soon. Good luck! _-Roach-_

I think the best way to loose weight is to cut out the crap.
drink loads of water. And chasing round after you babys will be enough of a work out for any-one.!!!!!

You will need to do some type of exercise to raise your metabolism. Start with walking at first, then jogging later. As for what you eat, change it very slowly. Figure how much you eat now, and decrease by 100 calories for two weeks, then another 100 for the next two weeks. When you start to loose maintain the calorie count until it stabilizes. Then drop another 100 calories. If you do it this way you will not get the starving feelings or the cravings. Also at some point add in weight lifting since this will maintain a more youthful look.

I am sorry but 55 pounds isn’t baby weight. It is called you pigging out while being pregnant.

Eat veggies, drink water, and exercise.

Alot of water!!! 30 min. 3x’s a week or more of exercise. No matter what it is. If you have to be at home,do it there. If you can’t find 30min. try breaking it up… 5min here, 5 min. there, house cleaning etc. And eat lots of good stuff!! fruits and veggies. Reward yourself too!!! If you do it the right way, those lbs. will be off in about 6months. And you will feel great!!

you sound like me! i’m sure you’ve heard if you nurse that helps alot, and it does! you burn alot of calories.
i’m sure you also heard the old saying, it took you 9 months to gain the weight…blah blah blah!
if you are nursing, you still need to keep up your caloric intake, just make good choices, no soda or junk food.
start out slow taking walks with the baby in the carriage, then build yourself up, maybe while the baby is napping do a 20-30 min workout video. every little bit counts!
    good luck!

Cut out all junk foods and eat healthy! Drink lots of water. Walk daily. And the best of all: breastfeed your baby!
